UFG is present throughout the natural gas value chain, from supply at source to the processes of liquefaction, shipping, regasification, distribution and commercialization.
UFG is active in natural gas liquefaction through its interest in the processing and production plants at Damietta, in Egypt, and at Qalhat in the Sultanate of Oman.

UFG's fleet consists of two modern LNG carriers, the Galicia Spirit and the Cadiz Knutsen, with capacities of 140,500 m3 and 138,000 m3 of LNG, respectively.

As part of its strategy of being present throughout the entire natural gas value chain of UFG is directly involved in the regasification process at destination through a significant investment in two plants located in strategic points in Spain: SAGGAS, in Sagunto (Valencia), and REGANOSA, in Mugardos (Galicia).

UFG markets natural gas in two distinct spheres: National (Spain) and International.
In the international market, through its trading unit, it actively participates in the marketing of gas on the major global gas markets. In Spain, through its subsidiary (100%), Unión Fenosa Gas Comercializadora (UFGC), it supplies gas to the electricity generation (combined cycle power plants) and industrial sectors. It also has an indirect presence in the domestic-residential sector through other marketing agents.
